K9 Rescued In Burke County
July 15, 2001
Burke County Office of Emergency Services, along with Jonas Ridge Fire Department, Oak Hill Fire Rescue, and NC Emergency Management respond to assist a citizen with a K9 that had collapsed while hiking in the Rose Creek Mountain area of Burke County. Rescue Team utilized a 4 wheeler from Oak Hill Fire Rescue to gain access to the dog. The dog was removed from the forest service road without incident. No report on the condition of the dog.
